Oatflakes wafers homemade are probably the best wafles in the world!  And entirely made without any extra flour. So it depends on your hunger, how much you’ll need. Yummy Yummy. We love oatmeal wafles.

This is an excellent breakfast or tea time cookie for Pitta types. Ghee, sweet, oatmeal – are all friends with Pitta.

Ingredients This recipe is for aprox. 4 – 5 wafles.

200 g oatflakes (the normal ones, not very soft or very hard)

2 soupspoons ghee

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

2 soupspoons raw cane sugar

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

300 ml lukewarm water

Preparation

Put all the ingredients in one bowl together, stir them and let it all soak for 10 minutes. Then heat the wafles machine, spread the ghee over the surface inside and bake the paste. Take the wafles out and add some cream or fresh berries, or for breakfast add just some honey or marmelade. You’ll love this!
