Forget your make up &#8211; you will shine brightly from inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/whatfoodcan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/whatfoodcan_zutaten_beete.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" src=\"http:\/\/whatfoodcan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/whatfoodcan_zutaten_beete-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"whatfoodcan_zutaten_beete\" class=\"wp-image-3965\" srcset=\"https:\/\/whatfoodcan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/whatfoodcan_zutaten_beete-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/whatfoodcan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/whatfoodcan_zutaten_beete-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/whatfoodcan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/whatfoodcan_zutaten_beete-220x165.jpg 220w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong> for 3 persons, time for preparation: aprox 1 hour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>500 gr. red beets<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 big yellow onion<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 big fennel, aprox 400 gr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>200 gr. fresh spinach leaves<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>250 gr. red lentils<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 gloves of garlic (optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 package of oat cream or just cream (200ml &#8211; 250ml)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>300 ml vegetable stock<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>salt, olive oil<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Preparation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cut the onions in cubes and chop the garlic, steam it with a bit of olive oil and salt until they get transparent. Add water if nesessary, to avoid burning the onions. They should keep their white color. Aprox. 10 &#8211; 15 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wash the beets well with a brush and cold water, we are not going to peel them. Cut the beets in cubes of 2 cm (mouth size). Add the beets and the rest of the stock. Let it steam slowly for 40 minutes, the lid half closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mix the cream (vegan or not vegan) with a soup spoon of peanut mousse in a glas, add it to the veggies and let it steam for 10 more minutes. Wash the lentils and put them with cold water, a bit of salt on the cooker and bring it to boiling. Take away the white foam. Important: don&#8217;t add to much water in the beginning. It should be a pur\u00e9e not a mash at the end. Better add hot water later, only when it&#8217;s needed. Stir the lentils from the moment they start swelling. When the pur\u00e9e is ready, add the spinach leaves and stir them slowly for 2 more minutes. Combine the spinach lentils with the beet ragout and enjoy!
