This oil is well known in Spain and can easily be found in excellent flavors and quality. It makes up part of the Mediterranean diet and is also tasty and very healthy: it protects from heart attacks, lowers cholesterol, slows down the aging process, has an antioxidative effect and improves the skin by hydrating it.<br \/>It\u2019s normally used on a daily basis in the kitchen: cold for salad dressings or for grilling, being very careful to prevent it from burning. Do not overheat (over 180 \u00b0C); it should never smoke.<br \/>Some fresh vegetables seasoned with a high quality olive oil and a pinch of salt makes a great dish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Good to remember: the olive branch is a symbol for peace. You can&#8217;t find olive trees around your house?
