El jengibre es una planta cuyo tallo subterr\u00e1neo se extiende en horizontal, como una mano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jengibre en el Ayurveda y su efecto en las doshas:<\/strong> Gengibre reduce Vata y Kapha; en su forma secada puede aumentar Pitta, gengibre fresco al contrario no lo hace. Gengibre es ligero, seco y picante &#8211; penetrante. Estimula nuestro agni (fuego digestivo) y el apetito. Expulsa los vientos (flatulencias) y es descripante, es bueno para la voz, ayuda contra la bronchitis, asthma y artritis, especialmente la reum\u00e1tica. En el Ayurveda se utiliza jengibre para la curaci\u00f3n de diferentes enfermedades y se recomienda su uso preventivo en la cocina del d\u00eda a d\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La investigaci\u00f3n actual lo ha confirmado: el jengibre contiene cingibereno, curcumeno, Sesquiphelandren y un l\u00edquido compuesto de aceites y sustancias picantes como Gingerol. Estas sustancias tienen un efecto antibacteriano, bajan la presi\u00f3n sangu\u00ednea, son diur\u00e9ticas, y act\u00faan como inhibidor de tumores e infecciones, son antirreum\u00e1ticas, antivirales, diluyen la sangre, y estimulan el m\u00fasculo del coraz\u00f3n. El jengibre fresco especialmente ayuda contra el malestar (durante viajes), v\u00f3mitos, gases y resfriados con fiebre. El jet lag se vence m\u00e1s rapidamente tomando jengibre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Infusi\u00f3n de Jengibre<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4 \u2013 5 rodajas finas de jengibre, echar agua caliente y dejar reposar unos 10 minutos. A\u00f1adir un poco de zumo de lima y miel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Infusi\u00f3n Jengibre \u2013 manzana \u2013 rooibos<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Preparar una cantidad deseada de t\u00e9 rooibos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Poner a hervir 2\/3 partes de t\u00e9 rooibos, 1\/3 parte de zumo de manzana, 4 \u2013 5 rodajas finas de jengibre durante 5 minutos y dejar reposar antes de beber. \u00a1Picante y afrutada mezcla invernal!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El jengibre reci\u00e9n rallado le da un toque c\u00e1lido y picante a muchos platos como curry, potajes o sopas.
