Lo que se inici\u00f3 en Oriente pr\u00f3ximo como forma m\u00e1s antigua de la agricultura, se extendi\u00f3 con el tiempo por el mundo. La cebada fue tanto para los seres humanos como animales un cereal de primera necesidad y de inter\u00e9s vital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En su forma original la cebada se utiliza hoy en d\u00eda en gran medida como pienso de animales o para hacer cerveza. Mientras hace unos siglos este cereal fue en Europa uno de los m\u00e1s importantes, ocupa ahora un puesto muy por detr\u00e1s del trigo, ma\u00edz o arroz. En Escocia se destila la cebada para hacer Whiskey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La cebada contiene muchos nutrientes \u00fatiles.
