Amontonar las rodajas en un colador grande, echar sal gruesa encima, seguir amontonado, echar otra vez sal gruesa hasta que todas las rodajas esten en contacto con la sal. Coger el colador lleno, meterlo en el fregadero, llenar una cazuela con agua y ponerlo encima de las berenjenas como un gran peso. Dejar reposar unos 30 minutos. Encender una sart\u00e9n grill\/ parilla encima de la cocina y untarla con un poco aceite de oliva. Poco a poco \u00abasar\u00bb las rodajas de berenjena, sin quemarlas. Coger una fuente para gratinar y \u00abpintar\u00bb el fondo con salsa de tomate. Construir unas pequ\u00f1as torres colocando las rodajas siempre una encima de la otra.
