There is no “healthy” alternative to sugar so:
- Gradually reduce the “sweetness” in food
- A dessert does not have to be a sugar bomb
- Don‘t use white sugar (refined)
- Carefully read the labels on food packaging
- Avoid ready to eat foods
- Avoid all sugar-sweetened beverages (like lemonade, coke, etc.)
- Cook, try it and prepare! It really is very worthwhile
