Tips to remove acidity
Excessive acidity is not easy to detect because it is deposited within the tissue. Pharmacies sell indicator strips with which you can at least determine your daily pH value. The morning urine should be slightly acidic (pH value of slightly less than 7).
To remove acidity from the body, you might start with a homemade remedy for 2-4 weeks. Eating lots of fruit, freshly squeezed vegetable juices, green smoothies, alkaline muesli, soup with fresh herbs, salads, quinoa, millet or dried fruits, usually achieves good results.
People with high acidity should start by avoiding alcohol, cigarettes, coffee and sugar. Then, gradually incorporate more raw vegetables into their diet.
