Citrus fruits

Lemons, oranges, tangerines, limes, and grapefruit have very vivid colors and awake up just about anyone with their vitamins. They contain relatively few calories, hardly any fat, lots of vitamin C and can be bought just about anywhere at affordable prices. They are popular as freshly squeezed juice, compote or decoration and we can easily integrate them into our daily cooking.

Tip: with a fine grater grate the skin of a lemon and zest a dish. An exquisite finishing touch.
